Our History

Global College is a private secondary school located in Mainway Meadows, Waterfalls, Harare. It was established in 2018 with a team of seven qualified and dedicated teachers. The school was officially registered in 2019 and gained recognition as a ZIMSEC O-Level examination centre in 2020, followed by A-Level centre status in 2021.

Since its inception, Global College has consistently produced high-performing students, some of whom have gone on to pursue tertiary education abroad. The school has grown steadily and now boasts a strong academic staff of 12 teachers, with four teachers in each of the three core departments: Commercials, Sciences, and Arts.

Global College offers both the ZIMSEC and Cambridge syllabi up to A-Level, ensuring students are equipped with qualifications that are locally grounded and globally recognized.

Mr Muringazuva
Mr Muringazuva is the Principal of Global College. He holds the following qualifications
from the University of Zimbabwe:
a) Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Economics
b) Master of Science Degree in Economics
c) Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Educational Leadership
He has been teaching since 2012, with four years of experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Zimbabwe and two years in the same role at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Mr Sakarombe
Sire U. Sakarombe [MSc & BSc (Hons) Economics (UZ), Computer Certificate in Electronic Data Processing] serves as the Quality Assurance Manager at Global College. He is an expert in academic and commercial studies, a published author, and has extensive experience in the administration of educational and commercial institutions. He has taught at schools offering Cambridge and ZIMSEC syllabi, and later lectured at the University of Zimbabwe before joining Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University.

Mr Meki
Mr Meki is the Senior Teacher at Global College. He teaches Mathematics, Business Studies, and Commerce and has taught these subjects at various levels since 2019. He has contributed to curriculum development, facilitated interactive lessons, and assessed students’ academic progress, supporting the College’s academic growth and reputation. He holds a Diploma in Education with a major in Mathematics from Belvedere Technical Teachers' College.

Mr Tegura
Mr Tegura is the Headmaster at Global College. He has 20 years of teaching experience, including eight years as a headmaster at various secondary schools. He currently teaches English and Heritage Studies. He holds a Degree in Education from Zimbabwe Open University, Diploma in Religious Studies from the University of Zimbabwe, and Diploma in Theology from United Theological College

Ms Munetsi
Ms Munetsi is a Geography and Commerce teacher at Global College. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Geographical Information Science and Earth Observation from the University of Zimbabwe and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Midlands State University. She has been teaching Geography since 2020.

Mrs Muringazuva is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teacher at Global College. She holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Kushinga Phikelela Polytechnic and has five years of teaching experience.

Ms Nhete is a Biology teacher at Global College. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Biological Sciences, specialising in Genetics and Microbiology, from the University of Zimbabwe. She has two years of experience as a laboratory assistant and two years of teaching experience.

Mr Ndadzibaya is a Computer Science teacher at Global College. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. He has 10 years of experience as an IT Systems and Network Administrator and has taught Computer Science since 2015.

Mr Mukwasi is a Chemistry teacher at Global College and has taught Physics and Chemistry since 2014. He holds a Diploma in Science Education from Bindura University. In 2015, he achieved the best Chemistry results in the High glen District, Harare.

Ms Zvichauya teaches Shona and Heritage at Global College. She holds a post-A-level
Diploma in Chishona from Mutare Teachers’. As a new educator, she contributes to
innovative learning platforms at the College, having started teaching in 2025.
